Marketing & Sales Administrator

Location: Sydney, Work from Home

As part of GBTEC’s ongoing global expansion, the team of our Australian branch is continuously growing. To support our existing team members and enabling even further growth, we are currently looking for a Marketing & Sales Administrator. The Administrator role is about supporting Marketing, Sales, and general administrative tasks to ensure business is running smoothly. It is a varied role, which could see you across a number of different functions, evolving with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

GBTEC Australia has remained its start-up environment, so, a strong sense of task ownership and responsibility is needed in all roles. The Marketing & Sales Administrator will directly report to our Managing Director, Daniel Rayner, and assist him and the rest of the team in various tasks. These responsibilities include:

Marketing activities

  • Liaise with our German Marketing Team for various marketing campaigns and tasks, including dedicated landing pages, keywords, SEO / SEA, and more
  • Manage the overall process for our Process Pioneers Podcast series (organise interviews, communicate with interviewees and ensure approval of videos, create compelling descriptions for YouTube, uploading the videos, etc.)
  • Assist in the organisation of our product webinars and manage ads to ensure enough of the right people hear about them
  • Post daily social media content
  • Liaise with the Sales Team and our wonderful customers to create Customer Success Stories

Sales activities

  • Support tender responses by taking part in filling out the documentation, keeping an eye on deadlines and instructions
  • Support the sales team in maintaining our CRM system
  • Organise sales calls for our Sales Managers
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other sales & marketing material

Other administrative support activities

  • Create invoices from our financial system and make sure they are sent out on time
  • Support the induction and onboarding of new employees by ordering hardware and liaising with our German HQ

Your Profile

You have worked in a small business / start-up environment before and were able to gain experience in an administrative support or similar role. A strong attention to detail and very thorough mode of operation are strengths of yours!

Things You’ll need to Succeed

  • At least 2+ years of experience in a sales & marketing support or similar administrative role
  • Very strong communication skills (verbally and written) to engage with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a very thorough way of working
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office 365
  • A positive attitude with a can-do approach to tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team


  • Experience with SEO / SEA
  • Experience in advertisements on LinkedIn (LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
  • Experience in event organisation
  • University degree in Commerce, Marketing, or similar fields
