Achieving Sustainable Compliance with CPS 230: Establishing Tolerance Levels for Your Critical Operations

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has released its final version of CPS 230, the new prudential standard for operational risk management. This standard impacts three main pillars: Identifying critical operations, 2. Business continuity planning, and 3. Managing risks from the use of service providers. These new standards will take full effect in July 2025, requiring compliance from superannuation, insurance, and banking institutions.
