  • For the fourth time in a row, GBTEC is listed by Gartner as a Representative Vendor for EBPA
  • Market Guide is available on GBTEC website as download
  • Greinke, GBTEC CEO: “Now, more than ever, companies must bet on digital transformation, with EBPA as key enabler for success.”

For the fourth time in a row, GBTEC Software is listed with its digitalization suite BIC Platform in Gartner "Market Guide for Enterprise Business Process Analysis" [1]. The analysts selected vendors who represent four common use cases: “Supporting digital transformation by linking strategy to execution; Improving processes by process modeling and analysis (i.e., BPA); Assessing the impact of change by connecting process models with Enterprise Architecture; Modeling and preparing business processes for DigitalOps.”

We believe that the insights in the Market Guide are highly valuable for BPM professionals and company executives with an interest in EBPA solutions. In the Market Guide, Gartner states: “Through business and process modeling, EBPA helps enterprise architecture and technology innovation leaders improve business performance and achieve resilient growth.” Due to the unprecedented situation following the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, many businesses re-focused their digitalization endeavors from stand-alone projects towards holistic digital transformation for organizational resilience and growth. Putting processes at the center of their transformation, companies can use EBPA tools to coordinate their business architecture and resources as well as connected IT systems.

BIC Platform combines EBPA with business process automation and process mining features
In the Market Guide, Gartner states that EBPA tools go above and beyond process modeling: “Unlike more traditional business process analysis (BPA), EBPA tools support the professional modeling community (process architects and process analysts) and the rank-and-file workforce as part of the move toward the democratization of process improvement, and knowledge discovery and dissemination.” With EBPA tools, companies can shift their focus from pure process modeling towards process automation and process mining capabilities, realizing the promise of democratized process optimization.

GBTEC has developed BIC Platform as a holistic suite for all steps of the process optimization journey in organizations. Starting with process modeling in BIC Process Design, customers streamline their operational workflows to automate them in the process automation tool BIC Process Execution. In a third phase, BIC Process Mining by Apromore enables them to gain a real-time overview of processes, revealing waiting times, bottlenecks, and improvement potentials.

GBTEC is listed in three Market Guides in the field of BPM
GBTEC is now listed as Representative Vendor for EBPA [1] as well as business process automation (BPA) [2] tools, with its third-party tool BIC Process Mining by Apromore named in the Market Guide for Process Mining [3].

The founder and CEO at GBTEC, Gregor Greinke, says: "Now, more than ever, companies must bet on digital transformation, with EBPA as key enabler for success. With the central capabilities of EBPA, we democratize process optimization in BIC Platform. In our automation and process mining solutions, we make process transformation and thus organizational digitalization accessible to all stakeholders in companies.”

Greinke adds: ”In BIC Platform, you find all necessary features of a first-class EBPA solution seamlessly and consistently integrated in a single software suite. Our focus lies on a great user experience, not only for BPM specialists, but also non-technical users. In my opinion, again being named by Gartner in its Market Guides shows that we are one of the leading developers of holistic digital transformation suites."
