Your mission

As a Engineer (m/f/d) Cloud Services & Support, you will help our international B2B clients use our software effectively and achieve a high standard of service. You will be the point of contact for our clients regarding the operation and further development of the cloud infrastructure, as well as the use of our multi-award-winning BPM software. As a team player, you will be part of a motivated team and will involve cross-functional areas such as product development and product management in finding solutions. 

  • Point of contact for our customers (B2B) to ensure optimal use of our software 
  • Analysing and processing tickets relating to potential faults, and taking responsibility for resolving issues (incident and problem management)
  • Creation, configuration and monitoring of environments in public and private clouds
  • Responsibility for the installation, updates and administration of our BIC products
  • Handling customer-specific queries regarding cloud operations and the integration of external infrastructures and APIs
  • Identifying solutions and efficiency opportunities in close collaboration with product development and product management

Your profile

  • A strong customer focus and the ability to understand customers’ perspectives and challenges
  • Professional experience in similar roles involving frequent customer contact. Completed vocational training or a degree, ideally in Computer Science or as a Certified IT Specialist (m/f/d)
  • Initial experience in server operations and cloud hosting of software products. We use Linux-based servers and Docker container technology on AWS, Azure and other cloud providers. 
  • An aptitude for a structured approach to analysis, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, including the use of tools to improve repeatability and automate processes. We primarily use Elasticsearch, Kibana, Docker, Terraform and Let’s Encrypt.
  • High awareness of information security, data protection and IT service management
  • Ability to work in a team and very good command of German and English
