Bochum, Germany, August 21, 2025 – GBTEC is expanding its global footprint with the opening of a new office in Saudi Arabia. This latest move comes after successful branch openings in the United States and the United Kingdom in 2024, and underlines the company's commitment to becoming a global leader in intelligent Business Process Management (iBPM), Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM), Digital Process Automation (DPA), and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). GBTEC Arabia Limited will be led by Co-Founder and Key Account Manager Marc Stromberg alongside Sales Director Moayed Mohamed.
A Strategic Move to Strengthen International Presence
By establishing operations in Saudi Arabia, GBTEC is positioning itself to leverage the region’s dynamic economic environment. “The launch of our Saudi Arabian office represents a crucial milestone in our global growth journey,” says Moayed Mohamed, Sales Director for the Middle East at GBTEC Arabia Limited. “We’re seeing rapidly increasing interest in our solutions across the Arab world. With a local presence, we can better support our customers and partners as they navigate digital transformation initiatives.”
Building Strong Local Partnerships and Supporting Vision 2030
GBTEC is already working with several high-profile Saudi institutions, including the Communication and Space Technology Commission (CST), the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), and the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). The company aims to deepen these relationships and further establish its reputation throughout the MENA region.
As one of the first SaaS providers to offer local hosting of its BIC Platform in Saudi Arabia, GBTEC has partnered with SCCC Alibaba Cloud (a joint venture of Alibaba and STC Group). This capability enables organizations to accelerate their digital agendas while aligning with the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 – a comprehensive reform initiative focused on economic diversification, innovation, and the development of smart, connected cities.
“Vision 2030 is driving a profound transformation across Saudi Arabia, with digital excellence at its core,” says Gregor Greinke, CEO and Founder of GBTEC. “We’re proud to contribute to this journey by empowering businesses to achieve their digital goals and helping to shape a competitive, future-ready economy.”
