Your mission
As a (Senior) AI / Data Science Engineer (m/f/d), you will take on the design and implementation of innovative solutions in the field of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to connect Large Language Models (LLMs) with current and dynamic data, revolutionizing the use of our market-leading BPM software for our clients. As a team player, you will be part of a motivated, international team and ready to take on and drive tasks independently.
Developing and implementing solutions in the field of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to supply Large Language Models (LLMs) with current and dynamic data.
- Designing and building robust pipelines for data preparation, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and integration.
- Implementing efficient retrieval mechanisms (e.g., vector databases) to provide up-to-date information for LLMs.
- Optimizing interfaces between data sources and LLMs to integrate real-time data without extensive fine-tuning or retraining.
- Developing algorithms and workflows that enable LLMs to generate relevant, context-aware responses from dynamic data sources.
- Evaluating and enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of retrieval and data enrichment processes.
- Collaborating closely with software developers to bring innovative AI solutions into production.
- Documenting and monitoring pipelines and systems to ensure seamless operation and continuous optimization.
Your profile
- Data Preparation Expertise: Solid experience in data extraction, cleansing, and structuring from various sources (e.g., APIs, databases, documents).
- Practical Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Hands-on knowledge of RAG methodologies and working with vector databases.
- Proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs): Familiarity with LLMs and their integration into production environments without extensive training or fine-tuning.
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python or Java.
- Database and Search Technology Knowledge: Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases as well as search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch).
- Scalable Systems Development: Experience in designing scalable systems and services, preferably in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Unstructured Data Processing: Familiarity with methods for processing unstructured data (e.g., document processing, text mining, NLP).
- Very good skills in English (C1 level), good in German
