New COO Michael Dierks Drives Further Growth of the GBTEC Group

GBTEC Software AG announces the reorganization of its management board. With Michael Dierks, the digital transformation specialist is bringing an experienced manager from the software industry onto the group's management team as a member of the Executive Board and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dierks, who can draw on more than 20 years of management and consulting experience in the IT and BPM industry, will join GBTEC's management team on March 1, 2021. He will assume strategic leadership of the Global Services and Business Administration divisions.

In his new position, Dierks will further expand the internationalization of the company, which has already established itself as a market leader in process-based digitalization solutions in Europe, and significantly accelerate customer growth. Dierks holds a degree in economics from the Ruhr University Bochum. His professional career is characterized by many years of management experience at software companies with a focus on business process management. After more than 10 years in a leading position at IDS Scheer AG, he helped shape the international development of the Software AG's consulting division in various executive positions.
